It’s time for the results of my Ultimate Blog Party Giveaway (my first ever bloggy giveaway ever!)

You might be wondering why there’s only one digit there when I had a whopping 31 comments on my party post.  I wasn’t too strict about my instructions for entering the giveaway, but I did look for some vague sign of interest in the prize or intent to enter, and that left eight of you.  So don’t worry, if you were commenter number twenty-something and you entered the contest, you were represented in our little pile of bits of paper!

So, that’s a 1, and that’s The Happy Housewife, who said, in a nutshell, 1. that my kids all look like my husband (fair enough) 2. that my husband looks so young (seriously, you should see our wedding pictures!) and 3. that she liked this post because she can get a little crazy on Sunday mornings too.  She actually gave me my first three comments.  One saying everything I just told you, a second one to say that the first didn’t go through and to repeat everything she’d just said, and a third to apologize for sending so many comments.  My kind of girl!  I was delighted that she won the drawing.

I think I will do a giveaway again sometime.  It feels  like Christmas!  Thanks to everyone who participated.
